This page covers the Verbatim AI website. It is short because we collect very little.

What we store

This website has no forms. We use Umami Cloud to understand aggregate website traffic. It records pages visited, referral source, visit time, browser and device details, and approximate location. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply. Accounts created in the app are covered by the app’s own terms.

Who sees it

The Verbatim AI founders can view website analytics in Umami. Umami Cloud processes the analytics data to provide its service. We do not sell this data or share it for advertising.

Removal

Email hello@theverbatim.com from the address you wrote from and we will delete it.

Common questions

  • It is a set of content agents for comparison pages, alternatives pages, "best X for Y" lists and use-case pages. You add your company and a few competitors, choose the sources, and the agents write a draft that shows the source for each claim.

  • A chatbot writes from what you paste in and what it already knows. Verbatim AI indexes the pages you select, writes from that index and keeps each claim tied to its source, so you never re-paste context.

  • From pages your team selects: your site, competitor pages, docs and reviews. In the editor, each claim shows the source passage and its URL beside it, so a reviewer can check it in seconds.

  • Yes. The agents draft and check against your context, and a teammate reviews and edits. Verbatim AI makes that review faster. It does not remove it.

  • Not yet. Publishing to a CMS such as WordPress or Sanity is planned, and so is flagging pages when a source changes, such as a competitor's pricing page. For now you place the page yourself.
